how to deploy images Res.rwm and WDS

in past i use wds , winpe deploy images.

i use pxe function of wds load winpe , some batch file upload image, system need lot of hdd space, because i have lot of .wim file.

an example of batch file is:

diskpart....

imagex /apply...

dism /set-edition (optional)....

bcdboot.....

now want use functionality of rwm file, have problem deploy.

i use winpe environment , use .wim .rwm files command imagex /apply or dism /apply-wim didn't work .wim .rwm

the way found export rwm image , apply process take more time , bandwidth.

the second scenario that i think use boot image of server 2008r2 dvd , use via wds in case can't use /set-edition option , force me setup master every version of windows.

can suggest me alternate way deploy image .wim .rwm ?

the *.rwm file format wds, these resource install image files. cannot use these files using imagex or dism figured out.

since you're creating lot of manual work when you're working custom windows pe images, don't recommend working process @ all.

i either 1 of following;

copy images need able install in different editions, , mount use dism /set-edition command, commit , unmounts it, append image base wim file. import wds , make use of default wds setup based installation.

or take @ mdt replacement os/software deployment. use wds pxe boot functionality, , use mdt framework deploy os. it's task sequence based installation, example use 1 edition of windows; lets server 2008r2 std. , add couple of "programs" run dism command line upgrade edition of os during deployment. way nice wizard interface allows me select optionally upgrade os higher edition.
