Domain Controller patches update error by normal user

hi,

i have problem domain controller. servers working fine wsus , gpo applied to. once, wsus found patches microsoft, downloaded , deploy server including dc wait local click install. problem it's not working domain controller.

the local has no authorization config dc(they in local\administrator dc has no local user database) but can remote server , task e.g. create users, groups within appropriate ou desired.

i believe it's fine because in gpo there policy setting call "allow non-administrators receive update notifications", problem happen when upgrade dc 2003 2008r2, mean it's working when it's in 2003.

does know how fix problem?

hi,

policy setting "allow non-administrators receive update notifications" has relevance windows xp systems, non-admin users not such notifications, or win2003-based terminal servers, ts users typically not have admin privileges. on vista , later systems, users notifications default.

and,code 800702e4 usually indicates current user privileges insufficient install it.since dc,pls logon domain admin right to see whether installation ok.

Invalid pointer on gpresult /h gpreport.html
