Server 2012 and Server 2008 R2 coexistance

we have migrated adds server 2012, although we've not raised forest or domain floor server 2003 @ point.

need create server 2008 r2 hyper-v instance specific services , in effort consolidate these services i'm wondering if it's possible add adds server 2008 r2 instance other ad instance on server 2012. 

haven't attempted yet; thought i'd ask group first.

this should not problem, long domain functional level not windows server 2012.
