CN=Deleted Objects missing


hi!

have encountered issue needs sorted out son possible.
reviewing restore routines @ customers active directory forest, discover container cn=deleted objects missing domain partition. (using ldp.exe view partition tree, can not found.)

i have verified same procedure in other forests, , deleted objects container shows expected.

need start troubleshooting problem?

i assume have followed steps below, sure:

to display deleted objects container

1.to open ldp.exe, click start, click run, , type ldp.exe.

2.on options menu, click controls.

3.in controls dialog box, expand load predefined pull-down menu, click return deleted objects, , click ok.

4.to verify deleted objects container displayed:
   a. connect , bind server hosts forest root domain of ad ds environment, under connections, click connect, , bind.

   b. click view, click tree, , in basedn, type dc=<mydomain>,dc=<com>, <mydomain> , <com> represent appropriate forest root domain name of ad ds environment.

   c. in console tree, double-click root distinguished name (also known dn) , locate cn=deleted objects, dc=<mydomain>,dc=<com> container, <mydomain> , <com> represent appropriate forest root domain name of ad ds environment.
