Hyper-V-VMMS error 18430 when importing VM with mapped ISO image on W2K8 R2

when trying import vm has virtual cd/dvd drive mapped iso file on windows server 2008 r2 hyper-v role error message:
“importing virtual machine succeeded following warning. import competed warnings. please check admin events in hyper-v-vmms event log more information.”
hyper-v-vmms event log contains set of 5 error messages each imported vm mapped iso:
- event id 18430: import task failed fix connection information connection 'c:\test-iso\testing.iso'.
- event id 12634: 'test-vm': file name '' invalid. cannot use following names (lptn, comn, prn, aux, nul, con) because reserved windows.
- event id 14140: 'test-vm' failed add device 'microsoft virtual cd/dvd disk'.
- event id 18130: failed import correctly device '{resourcetype=21, otherresourcetype="<null>", resourcesubtype="microsoft virtual cd/dvd disk"}' 'test-vm'
- event id 18250: import completed warnings. please check admin events in hyper-v-vmms event log more information.
in end, iso mapping lost during import, other ok imported vm.
if virtual cd/dvd drive of exported vm not mapped iso file, no errors occur.
i have 2 test servers windows 2008 , 1 windows 2008 r2. r2 has problem export/import operation (regardless of whether vm exported regular w2k8 or newer w2k8 r2).
reproduction scenario simple:
1) create vm on w2k8 r2. specify iso image file in properties of ide controller-dvd drive.
2) export vm.
3) delete original vm using hyper-v mmc.
4) import exported vm. error message displayed , iso mapping lost.
it worth mentioning *.exp file of exported vm contains correct mapping, problem might located somewhere in hyper-v r2 import operation:

though topic http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en/winserverhyperv/thread/2578dca8-e773-4baf-9c5d-a1ca0565bd77 discusses different subject matter, appears 1 of participants gets same error when importing vm mapped iso: “import task failed fix connection information connection 'c:\windows\system32\vmguest.iso'”.
can else reproduce error?
does know, (known) bug of hyper-v role in w2k8 r2, or change w2k8 design?

i got reply our product team. change in windows 2008 r2. our changed import / export infrastructure requires specific iso specified when importing vm. iso files not copied rest of vm files when vm being exported. during import, vm can bind different iso happens on same path not intended user. prevent import disconnects iso if not explicitly specified. hyper-v import ui restrictive can not specify iso vm bind during import.

 

however import not fail in condition. vm should imported warning not connected iso image.
