Server 2008 "Admin Password change"

hi, have received copy of s2008 technet subs, , on install requires "the user's passwordmust changed before logging in first time"i have tried using many different combinations error of "unable update value provided change not meet complexity".

 

i,ve tried quite few times using different combinations has had same?.

 

 

 

 

by default password complexity of windows server 2008 enabled. after installation of windows server 2008, system ask set complex password before first logon. password set must meet complexity requirements, means the password length should be at least 7 characters and password should contain @ least 3 of following 4 character groups:

  1. english uppercase characters (a through z)
  2. english lowercase characters (a through z)
  3. numerals (0 through 9)
  4. non-alphabetic characters (such !, $, #, %)

furthermore may not contain significant portion of username.

 

examples:

  • password01!
  • p@ssw0rd
  • pa%%wo4d
