Windows Server 2008 Update

hello,

i hope can updates of windows 2008 r2 server.  no ad. 

1. use erp via vpn remote users , local workgroup.

2. setup of windows updating "notify when download , manually install it."

the problem comes when select updates "required" update, nothing happens , 0% day night.. 

i check users connected through vpn 2-3 users only. check all... have internet , fine. 

but till morning nothing happens 0%. did restart server hope goes fine. open windows update, in cp

but not opening. what's wrong now? tried restart again, windows update not opening? there wrong?

please me.

has update readiness tool been run without error?

then check

Invalid pointer on gpresult /h gpreport.html
