hi,

in general, supports connect other servers essentials server, connection process same client connection process:
1. access “http://<servername>/connect” download connector.
2. complete connector configuration wizard.

section - “join second server network” has described detail steps:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj713510(v=ws.11).aspx#bkmk_b

connector automatically join system essentials domain during connector configuration, however, dc, has joined domain, may try skip domain join process via adding relate registry entry.

open command prompt administrator rights, type following command, , press enter:
reg add "hklm\software\microsoft\windows server\clientdeployment" /v skipdomainjoin /t reg_dword /d 1

above personal suggestions, there no official document has described details connecting exiting dc essentials server. recommend build similar environment , have test before implementing in production environment.

best regards,
