Personal Virtual Desktop without using RD webaccess

dear all, setting test environment on microsoft vdi. current setup catered personal virtual desktops. wondering if can connect personal virtual desktop using rdp file instead of going through rd webaccess interface.

from observation, seems rd webacess interface launches rdp file in background in order connect personal virtual desktop. if using rdp file connect personal virtual desktop possible still need install rd webacess role?

hi,

you can skip the rd webinterface and connect straight vdi. if want multiple users use pool of vdi's need rd connection broker. can use rd connection broker without rd webacccess role.
