any suggestions how make created vm boot?

hi,

i think vhd missing master boot record or not set active. may refer following procedures resolve issue:

  1. start server using windows server 2008 media.
  2. select repair computer.
  3. select command prompt.
  4. at command prompt, run the bcdedit command. lists of items appear under windows boot manager and underwindows boot loader.
  5. look values following items :
    1. under windows boot manager, the device item should set to unknown.
    2. under windows boot loader, thedevice and osdevice items should set to unknown.
    3. run following 3 commands correct settings, , restart computer:

bcdedit /set {default} device partition=c:
bcdedit /set {default} osdevice partition=c:
bcdedit /set {bootmgr} device partition=c:

6. or, locate x:\sources\recovery, , run startrep.exe start quick automated startup repair utility corrects boot environment values.
