Problem DHCP

personnel need help,

   have 2 servers domain controllers
   dell610 server called domain controller first , primary (master operation)
   second server called domain controller , secondary dell2950

 i have dhcp installed , running on both servers mentioned above, workstations point dhcp server dell2950, put in tcp / ip server dell610 these stations primary , secondary server dell2950

   problem if i, @ workstation , ping name of domain empresa.local, serving second domain controller (dell2950)

   wonder why these problems occurring
