SBS 2003 Server Management Update Services Error after WSUS 3.1 update

after installing wsus 3.0 sp1 (3.1.6001.65) on sbs 2003 r2, update services node in server management produces error line 184: 'document.all.divform.style' null or not object.
source file c:\inetpub\updateservices\home.aspx line: 196
this causes monitoring , reporting report fail main concern.
i tried reinstalling wsus 3.0 sp1.  problem solved but got error wsus service not started.  went services , update service not started wsuscertservr.  when started it, problem came back. i stopped service problem still remains.
i not have backup of wsus 2, cannot go it.
i did move wsus database drive @ point.  wsus works , new wsus console works well.

the "update services" node custom mmc developed sbs product group support wsus v2 installed r2 technologies products of sbs2003r2. installation/upgrade of wsus v3 installed new, standalone, mmc designed use with wsus v3.

the ideal circumstance (and thought documented in white paper cited, not), uninstall wsus2 instance r2 technologies (which causes "update services" node of sbs server manager removed), , install wsus3 fresh installation (rather upgrade).

i don't find surprising @ "update services" node throwing error(s) since wsus2sp1 no longer installed.

actually it's not =wsus= abandoned interface. sbs product group wrote custom interface wsus2sp1, , provided no pathway re-integrate updated wsus v3 mmc sbs server management console. gripes should pointed sbs product group.

yep.. sbs "update services" node trying read wsus v2 asp.net webpage 'home.aspx', not exists, deleted when wsus upgraded v3.
