New KMS Server Setup/Transition

i''ve been tasked retiring our current kms server (server 2008 standard ) , in it's place setting new 2016 kms server. i've little no kms experience. i'm hoping can run down of basic steps required , and i'm asking other helpful advice/tips may willing give me, thanks. active office 2010, 2013, , windows 7 professional our current server.

there have been people see issues using ws2016 kmshost.. (reported via these forums)

technically, possible.

for os of ws2016, need relevant kmshost pkey ws2016, single pkey will issue activations down-version windows products of both winserv , winclient os types. can't add more single windows kmshost pkey, must choose correct pkey.

for office kms, install each of relevant office kmshost pack (one each office version need activate). during office kmshost pack install, you'll prompted relevant version-specific office kmshost pkey (or can add afterwards).

Azure MFA with Azure AD and RDS
