Change IP Subnets


hi. need change internal subnets after a acquisition. @ present have following set-up:

'dc1' - physical - 2003 server standard - dns & dhcp - static ip 192.168.50.1 

'dc2'  - virtual - 2008 server standard r2 - dns , dhcp - fsmo roles - static ip 192.168.55.1

'dc3' -  virtual - 2008 server standard r2 - dns - static ip 192.168.55.2

subnet mask 255.255.255

ad sites , services - single site (default first site) -  2 subnets (192.168.50.0 and 192.168.55.0)

subnet servers change 10.20.2.x /22 (255.255.255.252) static ip's become:

dc1 = 10.20.2.1

dc2 = 10.20.2.1

dc3 = 10.20.2.1

i have update static ip on exchange 2010 server.

any advice on should ensure smooth transition appreciated.

thanks posting here.

we’d better have singlehomed router 2 ip addressesform old , new subnet (the default gateway address clients pointing , using ) , has routing entries on make clients in new or old subnet still connect each other during migration make smooth.

and we’d better start address changing form core services(domain controller , exchange server):
