Moving TS Cals From Server 2008 to 2003
hey,
my coworker moved our ts cals server 2008 2003 has left company , need know how move them server 2003. mentioned phoned them, i'm pretty sure didn't pay anything. if search ms support phone can find ways charged phone call.
any on appreciated.

you can not "move" licenses between ts servers. or more 2003 2008 or vice verse. reason being - speak different "languages". way ts cal's moved - in place upgrade. otehr circumstances call ms clearance house you. a.k.a. need uninstall previous ts license server , install licenses on new server. , calling ms ask issue new licenses instead of tho "died license server" doesn't cost penny.
