NAP via VPN

to all:

 

i have read step step how on nap via vpn , have couple of questions it.

1. in te guide, vpnclient pc connected domain, have case, or can vpn client pc not joined domain employee's xp home pc
2. what happens if not install nap client on machine (i can betas , know included sp3) , tries connect?  denied or have full access

i using isa 2006 vpn quarantine feature , actively looking nap replacement have 3rd party script doing work , want 1 integrated solution.  know there plans integrate version of isa?

i trying give answer of second question,

if not install nap client on client machine, client machine fail show helth certificate nap server. , in case if network administrator has given limited access for pc bad health client machine can enjoy limited access of network.

i have not tested schenario (using vpn).
