windows server 2016 memory leak?

hi,

i using windows server 2016 in vps server,i have 16 gb memory , after 24 hours memory geted full cannot see process in task manager or resource monitor size of memory.

i have sql server management studio 17 (always running),visual studio 2017 (closed)

git application

i try end task of process sql server , stop sql express servicess , git , .... memory dont come down, when restart system memory going 30 percent , after 24 hours memory 80 percent.

however see more login attacks problem in event viewer...

what problem , how can fix this?

hi,

on windows server 2016, please open resource monitor, find process has resource exception problem.

if possible (as may take period of time), please re-start system in clean boot, 3rd party process disabled, including sql server management studio 17 , visual studio 2017 @ system startup. not manually open process, wait period of time , confirm if memory usage increased.

if not, re-start system in clean boot, then, manually start sql server management studio 17, wait period of time , check memory usage.

above process helpful narrow down problem, confirm see if relate system or sql server management studio 17.

>however see more login attacks problem in event viewer.
please provide detail information these events. such event id, event source , etc.
