i planning have rms implementatation haigh avaliable have below questions:

what use of rms cluster? provide ha option without nlb

if choose have nlb should configure internal & external url , should use nlb url during installation?

please help

the concept of rms cluster different other windows clustering technology, such server clustering services , nlb. rms stateless web service front end hosted on internet information services (iis) microsoft sql server™ database end. rms has built-in feature create multiple front-end rms servers share same sql database ensure high availability of service , scale , balance workload more evenly. configuration called rms cluster. rms cluster web farm , can load balanced using various hardware or software load balancing technologies.

 

without nlb, rms cluster cannot achieve automatic load balance. speaking, can use nlb or dns round robin achieve load balance. if nlb used, you should use fqdn of nlb cluster url install rms cluster.
