Windows 2003 sbs slow saving to server

hi everyone, i'm newbie when comes installing windows 2003 server. here's problem , bought new server windows 2003 sbs edition , installed in workgroup (i had not complete network setup make domain since don't need that). server running great 1 week, have 1 application accessing server on 7 windows xp pro sp2 stations. read , write instant, but  then server started reboot every hour and in event viewer i got sbcore error. , said need complete network installation. did complete installation , offered me install has domain wich did. stand server , station have acces except write server takes 3 5 seconds complete save. before domain controller installed instant. know problem ?  server not connected internet patches date.

Invalid pointer on gpresult /h gpreport.html
