decrease the Hyper-V machine Size

the host machine running on windows server 2012 std. , 2 hyper-v machine running dynamic hdd. 1 hyper-v machine hdd size increase because of many file copy in hyper-v machine. , delete file. hdd hype-v machine size not reduce. so, how can reduce hyper-v machine size. on hyper-v machine exchange 2010sp3 running. physical hdd getting space low. so, need reduce hyper-v machine size.

before you do following things suggest backup vm first .

a) try defrag in vm's disk

b) in hyper-v manager , try to compact disk through the wizard of "edit disk..." .

 (if host can not hold max size of vhdx file , please think of moving vm large enough storage)
