hey can  fqdn of server , .local , .internal or blank.com or ad.blank.com

what best practice these days ? or of them ? help

here prefer name “ad.blank.com."

the fqdn dns name uniquely identifies computer on network. default, concatenation of the host name, the primary dns suffix, , period.

for example, fqdn might client1.reskit.com.

although dcpromo.exe in windows server 2008 , windows server 2003 allows create single-label dns domain name, should not use single-label dns name domain several reasons. in windows server 2008 r2, dcpromo.exe not allow create single-label dns name domain. more information, see http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=92467.

Invalid pointer on gpresult /h gpreport.html
