max resolution I can add in preferences is 4096X2048, but I have a 5K iMac

i able add 5k resolution in preferences, 5120x2880, , set scaling can take advantage of clarity of resolution when using remote desktop, seems max resolution can add 4096x2048.  is there workaround this, or there plan add support resolution?

can understand wanting use maximum screen resolution, need fast connection servers handle such massive resolution. expect lag take away benefit high resolution might offer.
