Reason to use Standard vs Enterprise vs DataCenter in VM

i setting new server ws2008r2 datacenter hyper-v role. under datacenter use rights, can create unlimited vms using datacenter or enterprise or standard editions.

the question this: if expected use of vm within feature set of standard edition, there difference between installing standard vs enterprise vs datacenter in vm , using features? put way, datacenter vm use more resources (disk, processor, memory) standard or enterprise vm if none of enterprise or datacenter roles or features added? there benefit overall resources install standard edition or matter if datacenter edition vms?

there misconception enterprise runs better standard , datacenter stable.  each edition provides set of features , services.  take @ link go on various editions.
