i new company , have been asked take on task previous employee left unfinished.   "familiar" failover clustering have not done recently.   looks previous employee evicted 1 of 2 node cluster servers replace hardware.   i've setup new hardware failover cluster need setup iscsi volumes on new node.   have not done before.  all i've done before create new failover disks , fibre channel disks.  can give me advice or link tutorial setup these existing iscsi volumes on second node?  one more note:   iscsi volumes on dell equallogic system , i've never worked on equallogic before either.

hi,

if doesn’t misunderstand seems finding how setup fiber channel storage node, can refer hardware manual setup hardware connection, or call hardware vendor more help, can refer following support scenario configure fiber channel storage:

the cluster service allows reconnect or replace cable between hba , switch, , allows node take ownership of physical disk resource. hba driver must consider several issues plug , play rescan occur. hba miniport driver must issue "buschangedetected" notification when cable reconnected (an hba port driver issues "ioinvalidatedevicerelations" notification) windows notified change has been made shared bus.
