Server 2008 R2 IE 9 downgrade

hello,

i see there number of posts related possibly downgrading ie9, i confirm in fact possible, , how go doing so.  i have application not run in ie9 , , run in ie8.

Invalid pointer on gpresult /h gpreport.html
