LDAP authentication and DNS query

could clarify statement true:

when using ldap v3 authentication (some exotic non .net) client against ad , using domain name bind , query dns for available dc's on multi-site domain, any dc can be at top of list, e.g. client gets random or @ least not "closest" dc log on to?

hello,

make sure ad sites , services contains subnets , sites configured correct subnets , dcs in site.

if doesn't maybe have hardcode dc in application, disadvantage of inavailability of dc result in problems.
